The Mesilla Valley's high-desert, irrigated-agriculture climate — intense UV exposure, valley dust, and irrigation-adjacent soil moisture near the Rio Grande floodplain — pushes a coating differently than a humid Gulf-coast metro or a mild coastal climate would. We spec surface prep, primer, and topcoat chemistry to this specific valley climate, not a generic statewide default.
